I was feeling thirsty. I approached the fridge, but I noticed a few cups and saucers in the sink. I donned my rubber gloves to wash them.

As I was about to do so, the phone rang. I sat at the table and answered. I chatted a while, which led to several other calls. When they ended, I remembered I had laundry in the washing machine.

I hurried to the basement to put them in the dryer. They were not done. I returned upstairs.

I spied the empty glass and remembered that I am thirsty. I opened the fridge and noticed the door compartments needed to be washed. I emptied them. Washed and dried them, plus some cups and the left in the sink. I arranged everything back where they belonged.

Again I spotted the empty glass. Finally I poured myself a cold glass of water! Whew! Life gets quite confusing as you age!

Oh, wait! Wait! I still have to put the laundry in the drier!
