Day is just breaking. The skies are grey. I look out of my window. Overnight the foliage on the trees has changed their colors. Golds, yellows, crimsons… Autumn has arrived. Oranges, persimmons, tangerines, grapefruits, chestnuts, walnuts… Smoke rising from chimneys. Walking outside, the smell of burning firewood wraps around you as you step on the soft carpet of falling leaves. The chill of autumnal weather, the never-ending change. Season after season time marches on…
