My dear cousin, Olivia Masry, has been my dentist since we arrived in New York close to fifty years ago. She’s a gentle and amazing dentist, one of the kindest people, but she doesn’t extract teeth.

My two top front teeth have had their share of mishaps over the years. The first incident was in my early twenties when I fell into a ditch, loosening my teeth and cutting my lower lip. Another mishap occurred about five years ago at a Chinese eatery, where I unexpectedly bit into bones in my food and my front teeth gave way. Olivia came to the rescue despite it being the weekend and fixed my teeth immediately.

Just before Passover, part of my cap fell off, prompting a visit to Olivia. After examination, it was determined that my teeth needed to be extracted due to weak jaw bones, and Kelly’s friend, Sean Ganjian, arranged to perform the procedure.

Anxiety plagued me the night before, with worries and stories of past dental experiences running through my mind. However, Sean’s skilled and painless extraction left me feeling relieved and impressed. I am grateful for their expertise and care during this dental dilemma.

Thank you, Olivia and Sean, for your exceptional care and support. If anyone is in need of a capable dentist in Queens, I highly recommend Sean Ganjian in Rego Park at 718.897.8900.
