My lawn is carpeted with fallen leaves of different hues of autumn. Other leaves are still clinging to their branches, loathing the time of saying the final farewell. Yesterday it rained and rained. Today the sun is out, the weather is like an Indian summer. All my dogs want to do is prance around the fallen leaves as if they seem to know winter is around the corner and they have to make the best of the last days of this magical autumn.

There is joy in their beings. Hello! Hello! Are you enjoying this weather, they seem to ask the passersby? The wind blows and more leaves shower upon them. They are delighted. They leap about gracefully chasing the leaves. The squirrels watch them with interest as they perch on a branch nibbling on a nut. A bird sings joyously. Is it a winter bird or will it fly south eventually. Despite everything, life is so magical, so beautiful…
